Who’s ready to do some oyster shucking? How does 45,000 pounds of oysters sound? The Lowcountry Oyster Festival presented by Toadfish is the world’s largest oyster festival! Highlights include live music on the main stage, raw oyster eating and shucking contests, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a Children’s Area and a “Food Court” showcasing a variety of local favorite restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste.

Charleston Restaurant Week offers locals and visitors alike the opportunity to experience the world-renowned cuisine of Charleston chefs with prix fixe lunch and dinner menus. This provides restaurant patrons the opportunity to indulge the same high-quality cuisine and experience for a more affordable price.


Taste of Folly



Taste of Folly

Center Street will be closed on "Savory Saturday" and taken over by Folly establishments to serve up their best dishes and exhibit their skills through live demonstrations. Taste will feature a Hot Dog Eating, Oyster Shucking Contests and the Server Olympics. We are also thrilled to bring back our spin on the Chili Cook-Off by introducing the "One Pot Showdown"! All of this will be complemented by local bands, 50+ Folly art, craft, and fashion vendors, and a robust kids area, Taste of Folly will have something for everyone! Tickets will be $15 the day-of for Savory Saturday.

Firefly Distillery Oyster Roast

Firefly Distillery kicks off 2023 with their Sunday Oyster Roasts series from January through March on their four-acre field alongside the Noisette Creek! These ticketed Sunday events will offer all-you-can-eat oysters from Chef Graham Calabria and Lowcountry Oyster Co, local DJs spinning tunes, with Firefly cocktails, Bloody Mary's, beer, and soft drinks available for purchase. Event attendance is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance here.
