Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Blast is back for 2022. Visitors will enjoy food trucks, fireworks, and live music at the most patriotic location in South Carolina.
On July 4 starting at 6 p.m., guests are invited to a free party landside of the historic World War II aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. This will include live music, access to more than a dozen food trucks and a fireworks show above Charleston Harbor after sundown. This event does not require a ticket. Parking at Patriots Point for the day will be $20 per vehicle. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own seating.
In addition to landside viewing, admission to the Yorktown’s flight deck will be available for purchase as an enhanced viewing option. Tickets for the flight deck will cost $25 per person and available online. Tickets are limited to six per person and cannot be resold. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for flight deck seating. Personal food and drinks will not be permitted on the flight deck, but local food vendor King of Pops will sell gourmet popsicles. Access to the flight deck will open to those with tickets at 7:30 p.m. and close at the conclusion of the fireworks show.
