The Charleston Caribbean Jerk Festival is a family-friendly event that celebrates the best in Caribbean food, culture, and music. The focus of this unique festival is to highlight Caribbean food, specifically food using Jamaican jerk seasoning.

Please bring a blanket, chair & good vibes while you enjoy music, food & fun!

The top chefs in the Southeast will bring it and face off in a fierce and delicious competition. Judges will decide who gets crowned Top Jerk Chef 2024, while attendees reap the delicious benefits. We encourage you to try as many vendors as possible. Specially-priced plates are available at the vendors’ discretion.

Get to the Charleston Caribbean Jerk Festival early to sign up for the Jerk Wing Eating Contest. The person who eats the most wings in 30 seconds wins. Will you be crowned the 2025 Charleston Caribbean Jerk Festival Jerk Wing King or Queen?

  • Tickets are required for entry (including complimentary tickets & children’s tickets.)
  • Children under 12 must have adult supervision at all times.
  • Tents, coolers and pets are prohibited.
  • North Charleston Police, Fire & EMS will be onsite and available in case of an emergency.
  • Alcohol is available for purchase with a valid ID.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed on site.
  • Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome
