Wildlife surrounds you at the South Carolina Aquarium! With more than 5,000 animals, dozens of exhibits and stunning waterfront views, you can connect with the natural world your way. Touch an alligator, feed a cownose ray and see eye-to-eye with sharks swimming by. Take a break in front of the Great Ocean Tank or listen to the waves crashing along the Aquarium’s waterfront.

Also included with admission, visitors can come face to face with endangered sea turtles recovering from illness and injury at the South Carolina Aquarium Sea Turtle Care Center™. Watch biologists at work and discover what it takes to protect and save sea turtles. Follow each patient through their full-circle journey back to the wild and be inspired to help.

Every experience supports wildlife in the Aquarium and beyond our walls. From education and fieldwork to conservation and animal care, your visit to the South Carolina Aquarium is fostering positive change for the natural world.

A parking garage operated by the City of Charleston is located at 24 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Metered parking is located along Washington Street and Concord Street.

The South Carolina Aquarium utilizes a dynamic ticket calendar to determine daily admission prices. This model allows guests to plan their visit on a date that fits both their schedule and budget. The pricing you see today will never decrease, but it may increase closer to your selected date. Tickets are available for purchase up to 60 days in advance.
